4 October 2011 - GOLDEN OCTOBER- Glorious weather and a sight for sore eyes
At noon today PILGRIM returned to Brixham bathed in sunlight to the delight of a sizable crowd of well-wishers.
Without masts or rigging, she came into port under her own engine power, the first time since 2004!  Escorted home by Vigilance, another Brixham Heritage Trawler.
A large group of well-wishers and participants in her restoration welcomed her home with pride and a small toast to her future.
Watch her progress here and in Brixham, Next "THE FIT OUT"
This is just the begining of a new lease of life for one of the Britain's oldest vessels.  1895 to... ?

3rd October 2011 After completing successful engine trials this morning,  Pilgrim is expected to leave the Dart tomorrow morning, 4th October at around 1000 and arrive back in Brixham around noon.

20th September 2011 - It has not been possible for sea trials on the Dart to be completed to schedule because of a problem with the starboard engine. The gearbox was removed at the weekend and is now at the supplier's workshops for inspection. As a precaution a fresh gear box has been ordered by air freight from Korea. Once the suppliers have reported we will post definite news about the return.

9th September 2011 - It has not been possible to complete sea trials in the Dart in time for Pilgrim's return for Fishstock on 10th September. Once the trials are completed next week we hope she will be able to return, weather permitting, by or at the weekend.
